The Tea Ceremony with humanistic coaching
I am Mary Criddell, an holistic therapist working under Lula Mae Healing.
I incorporate handmade oils, tinctures and teas crafted from flowers and herbs organically grown in my garden in beautiful Cranmore, Somerset.
Sessions are held in The Healing Hut nestled in the garden, a space that nourishes the body, mind, and soul, a testament to the power of working with nature.
My journey into healing started in 20o5 studying Counseling at Kingston college. Where I studied many forms of counselling techniques but had a preference for the Person-Centered which I now use in The Tea Ceremony as humanistic talk therapy.
In 2013 still on my own healing journey I stayed at a remote health retreat, The Ketapang Estate in Tabanan, Bali. Here I met spiritual healer Ibu Putu, a life changing experience that began with a deep respect for the natural world's healing potential. This transformative experience involved working with Qigong, facial reflexology, and Gua Sha. Since then I have immersed myself into the world of Healing Energy and herbs I practice QiGong and Taichi and organically grow healing herbs and flowers in my Somerset Garden.
In 2023, I attained the second Reiki degree under the guidance of Reiki Master Sarah Homes at Bruton Reiki School. Now, I'm here to support you on your healing journey.

Reiki is an ancient technique used for stress reduction and relaxation, offering numerous benefits for both physical and mental health. It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy where the practitioner places their hands on or near the body. While we often think of viruses and bacteria as being contagious, negativity can be just as infectious and debilitating.

We can accumulate negativity from our relationships with family and coworkers, which can weigh heavily on us, keeping us stuck in unhealthy patterns and disrupting our energy fields. This disruption can affect our overall health, both mind and body.

Facial Reflexology
Dien Chan

In Facial Reflexology, the face serves as a microcosm of the body, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Reflex points and zones on the face are connected to the nervous system, and stimulating these points with a 'detector' tool sends messages from the exterior to the interior, encouraging the body to return to energetic balance. Dien Chan Zone® Facial Reflexology is incredibly relaxing, a key aspect of any reflexology treatment, as it allows the body to tap into its innate intelligence and begin healing.

For the Dien Chan wake-up massage, I use my handcrafted organic oil. Then, I work with a stainless steel facial reflexology tool, applying energizing pressure points to relax, heal, and rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul.

Heated Gua Sha
Benefits of heated Gua Sha
-
Promotes blood circulation
-
Improves fine lines and wrinkles
-
Enhances lymphatic drainage
-
Relieves muscle tension
Recent studies show that Gua Sha can significantly improve circulation, reduce inflammation and puffiness, sculpt the jawline, and contour facial tissue. These benefits contribute to a more youthful appearance and help individuals maintain their vitality.

For facial massages, I use a beautiful handcrafted rose oil along with heated Bianstone tools. This combination promotes circulation, boosts lymphatic drainage, and relaxes facial muscles.

The Tea Ceremony
The Tea Ceremony at the Healing Hut offers a serene and nurturing experience centered around a hand-crafted cup of herbal healing tea, made from organically grown herbs and flowers from my garden.
This ceremony is guided with a humanistic approach, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients are invited to explore their feelings and inner landscape. Together, we gently encourage self-awareness through reflection, providing an objective perspective that helps identify and release negative patterns and limiting beliefs.
Through mindful presence, compassionate guidance, and deep listening, the Tea Ceremony becomes a space for self-discovery—empowering each individual to uncover their own path to healing and wholeness.
